After one rescheduled appointment and an extra week of saying "he/she" when referring to our future bundle of joy, we now know the verdict. We are having a little girl! The doctor told us and, after he left the room, the technician made it clear that he isn't one to make the call unless he's postive. So we don't believe that there's much doubt but... ya never know.
Even more importantly, the ultrasound revealed that everything looked fine (I was really nervous). From what they could tell, she (nice to be able to say that now) appeared to be completely healthy and happy in Mommy's tummy. 10 fingers, 10 toes, a little hearttbeat and all of the other crucial parts. She was moving her arms all around, opening her mouth, yawning & even stuck her tongue out at us. We couldn't believe you could see this on the ultrasound but, trust us, it was unmistakable. Maybe it was our first indication of her personality.
I've included a couple pictures from our appointment. Good luck making things out. I couldn't really until Steph pointed things out.
