Yep, it's true - Sarah has turned one year old! We celebrated her big day in grand style at the house, with family. Sarah got some great gifts, and as you'll see, she wasn't too impressed with the cake, although she did like the ice cream. Her cousin Joseph was a big help, showing her how to unwrap presents. We were kind of surprised at how well she caught on to tearing the paper and pulling out tissue paper...have we created a monster? Sarah also received her first shopping cart and purse - the purse came with a debit card (already teaching responsible spending). Joseph commented that she's going to be at the mall all the time now. Watch out Nordstrom's!

Happy Birthday Sarah! I can't beleive that you are already one and I have not had a chance to meet you yet. I have really enjoyed following your pictures and reading about you on your website. I would love to see all three of you sometime soon!
