We just returned from our first road trip - longer than the 3.5 hours to Houston, that is. We went to visit Melissa, Chad and Anna Smith in Little Rock, AR. It is about a 7.5 hour drive or so, and Sarah did really well. The only problem was that she didn't want to sleep on the car rides, so she didn't get to bed until really late. She did fine in Arkansas, but we are paying for her lack of sleep now!
Anyway, here are some pics from our visit. Most are from our night at Chad's family's lake house in Hot Springs. Sarah had her first boat ride, and she didn't cry, but as you can tell, she doesn't look thrilled either. That's okay, she'll LOVE it next time! Oh, and Sarah is a future pianist too.
