Sarah is 4!

I'm horribly behind with adding to the blog (again, computer still in kitchen and recently our camera died, so can't get photos off that just yet), so I thought I would jump ahead and give you an update on Sarah's 4th year check-up at the doctor. She's growing up, ladies and gents.

Weight - 35 lbs - 50%
Height - 40 in - 65%

I was nervous about the 4 shots and various vision/hearing tests that were supposed to be sooo traumatic, so I kept her home with me and I thought we could have some fun and I could do a little work. Turns out that our pediatrician only gives 2 shots and gives the other 2 at 5 years, so that's good, although next year won't be any fun either! Sarah didn't want to have anything to do with the hearing or vision tests (she told me later that she was tired...) and because she has been to visit her great-great aunt in a nursing home over the years, she was lucky enough to get a TB test, so basically, Sarah ended up with 3 shots, which as she put it, "I hope I never have to get another shot!" Yep, shots are no fun. Sarah cried and cried, but she did well. No reactions. She did walk around with her arms bowed out at her side all day, and she had a hard time taking a nap since her arms were sore. Amazingly though, when we met Kevin for lunch at a place that has a playground, Sarah could run around and play just fine!
