Halloween was kicked off this year by a wonderful Halloween Parade at the kids' school. They have a parade about once/month, and basically, the parents stand in this one central area, and the kids go through some of the classrooms, picking up other classes as they make their way through the school and back again. It's all of 15 minutes, but the kids like it, until it's time to walk in front of the parents! In case you can't tell, Nate is Dennis the Menace (you won't be able to tell) and then Sarah was a bride. Her own choice, and who knew that Barbie makes a bride costume? Hmmmm.
Next we went to Riley's 2nd birthday party, which was a dress-up party. The kids all wore their costumes and then they got to do some arts and crafts, like decorating buckets and they even got to decorate their very own pumpkins!
Finally, we finished up the holiday with trick or treating with our neighbor Zoe. The kids had a great time!
Here comes Dennis the Menace!

Carving the pumpkin. I think Nate already had to go to bed.

Decorating pumpkins (I helped Nathan with his)

A spooky dinner - mummy pizzas.
They didn't go over as well as hoped, even without the olives.

All lit up. Super easy to do - Kevin can tell you all about it!

Happy Halloween!
