Nathan is 4 Months Old

Some of you already know, but Nathan gave us quite a scare last week, running a temp from between 102-103 all day last Monday. Mommy and Nathan spent two hours at the doctor's office while they took his white blood cell count (pricked his toe), urine sample (almost got catheterized, but luckily he pee peed in a bag in the knick of time), had blood drawn from his arm (Mommy can still see his face looking at her crying when she closes her eyes), and a huge shot of antibiotics. The next day, Nathan's fever was gone, but we still had to go back, and they ended up pricking his finger for another white blood cell count!!! The doctor never did officially confirm the illness, but it's been chaulked up as an ear infection. Great. Just one step closer to tubes.

Anyway, today we went back to the doc, but this time on a happier occasion - shots! Nathan weighed in at a whopping 17lbs 9 oz (up one oz since last Monday) which is the 95%, height - 25.5 inches - 75%, and his head was in the 90%. And even better news, we're starting cereal! Pictures of that first meal will be forthcoming.
