For New Year's we went to Kodi, Taylor, Riley and Shea's house for dinner, playing and fireworks! Riley is about 6 months older than Sarah, and the two girls get along really well. Riley just became a big sister almost two months ago, so we were excited to FINALLY get to meet Baby Shea. Plus, Nathan needed someone to hang out with (Kevin told Taylor he gives Nathan until he's 2 years old before he starts flirting with Shea...not MY little boy!)
Some will remember Sarah's introduction to fireworks last 4th of July, and that she did not like them. Riley did not have any such baggage, so she was all over the sparklers. Sarah eventually decided that fireworks are kind of scary, but they are fun too, so while she wouldn't hold one, she did let Kevin hold her while he held the sparkler.
We spent Sarah and Riley's first New Year's together two years ago, and if you'd like to see how much they've changed, you can visit that posting at http://babytap.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html. My, how they have changed!
HAPPY NEW YEAR'S!!!
