Kick, Kick, Scoop, Scoop

In May, Sarah and I took swim lessons at the YMCA. They lasted about 3 weeks, and we went twice a week for about 30 minutes. She had fun - learned how to kick and scoop her arms for when she starts doing the strokes. We also learned fun songs and Sarah even got to jump off the side of the pool. She never would try to blow bubbles, but has a few times in the bathtub since then. We'll work on these skills this summer, and then try to get her into the next level of swim lessons where she will be a Pike!

Before we left for our first class. Somebody looks a little nervous.

From the last class. We just finished a song.

I think we are kicking and scooping

Working on kicking

Getting used to laying on their backs and putting their heads in the water.
