Mommy Takes Manhattan

Last week, I went to New York City for a work function. It was my first time there so I didn't know quite what to expect. I had a good time, although I'd never be able to live there. It seems like it's too frantic of a pace for me. We stayed in a very nice hotel in the Upper West Side, which helped. Since I was only there a day and a half, I didn't get to do too much sight-seeing, but you'll see from my pics below I got a lot in!

Times Square

Grand Central Station with the Empire State Building in the background

Inside Grand Central - this picture doesn't do the architecture justice.
At the Metropolitan Museum of Art - by Koons

Another piece by Koons - I thought Sarah would like it

View from the rooftop garden at the Met -
you can just see the Empire State Building

Inside the Met - in the Egyptian wing - pretty cool

Central Park

Belvedere Castle in Central Park
