Father/Daughter Dance

At the beginning of February, Sarah's Daisy scout troop participated in a Father/Daughter Sweetheart Dance. The theme was Under the Sea. Sarah was very excited, and we surprised her with a corsage (daisies, of course) and dinner out with another father/daughter. Sarah and the rest of the girls are learning very early what is expected at a dance - hair, nails, fancy dress, special shoes, etc. The boys had better watch out when the time comes!

I asked Nate what he wanted to do with me since Sarah and Kevin were having their special night. He responds, "I don't know, watch TV?" Oh, do I have a boy on my hands or what? I talked him into going to a restaurant, and he chose Chick-fil-A. We had a nice dinner, including some play time on their playground, then we finished up with ice cream.

Kevin asked Sarah on their way home what her favorite part was - dressing up, going to dinner, seeing her friends, etc., and she answered, "dancing with you Daddy." How sweet is that???

These had to be sent to me since moms were not allowed!
