The New Playscape

For some of you, these are the pictures you have been waiting for. Drum roll, please... For Sarah's birthday, we decided that she was ready for her own playscape in the backyard. This is a gift that she will be sharing with her brother, but for now, it's all hers. Grandma and Nannie and Grandpa all chipped in towards the new playscape and it turned out really nice. Prior to construction, Kevin had to take down one of the cedar trees in our backyard. That was kind of sad, but we are left with 10 other trees, so it's okay. Uncle Trey and Joseph, Benjamin and Matthew all helped put the thing together. They were here most of a Saturday and Sunday and did great. We are truly thankful for the help you all provided and the boys should really be proud of themselves for their hardwork. And here are the pictures to prove it.

Sarah and Nathan watch anxiously from inside...

Somebody's excited!

Joseph uses the drill

The climbing rock wall gets its rocks

Daddy working on the slide.
Doesn't Benjamin look so cool with the drill?

So apparently Sarah is now mimicking how I stand.
Notice the hand on the hip. She provided
lots of entertainment that weekend!
Trying everything out

Pretty much done!
I think she likes it!

For some reason, Sarah would only slide with Benjamin
