Some funny things the kids are saying and doing

I keep saying I need to keep track of what my kids are saying or doing and I never seem to write it down, so maybe I'll do it here and share with you all at the same time!
  • Apparently, Sarah has an imaginary friend named Broccoli. I can't remember what this friend has been up to, but this mention of Broccoli has occurred twice. (don't think I told you, Kevin).
  • Nathan has his second tooth coming in and he's quite the walker these days (will post some video of that soon).
  • The other night at dinner (Kevin was working late), Sarah asked if when Nathan got older, would he drink beer like Daddy? I told her probably. And then to incriminate myself for some reason, I asked her what she would drink when she got older and she pointed to my wine glass. I knew it!
  • On their way to work and school in the mornings, Kevin and the kids have been listening to his iPod. We've downloaded some silly dance songs so that our kids will at least know what's going on and don't just stand there when they are at parties, so we've got Limbo Rock, Chicken Dance (ugh), Casper Cha Cha Slide, etc. Now if you know me, you know I absolutely HATE the Chicken Dance - even threatened to walk out of my own wedding reception if it was played, but I've put that hatred aside to expose my kids to all forms of "music." This morning I get a call that Sarah likes it so much that she wants her daddy to bring a radio to her wedding so they can do the Chicken Dance. I will pray each night she changes her mind! If not, you will see me out there doing the dance b/c if she wants it, so be it.
  • And, as embarrassing as this is, after a bath the other night, Sarah was rubbing her chest and told Kevin that she thought she was starting to get those things like Mommy! Oh, kids.
