First Day of School

Sarah started kindergarten last month, and it was an exciting/sad day for all of us. The school asked that parents not walk their kids to their classrooms, so we weren't sure how it was going to go, but when we walked into the school, teachers were waiting to escort children to their classrooms. Sarah took the teacher's hand and never looked back. I was sad, but had Nate by my side, and he was talking and asking questions, so that helped keep my mind off of things. The PTA had Coffee and Kleenex for kindergarten parents, so Kevin, Nate and I all went and had juice and a snack. I ended up comforting one woman who needed some kleenex! When I picked Sarah up from school that day, she said that her day was wonderful! Sarah likes her teacher, Mrs. Vanzura, and so do we. We are hoping for a great year!
