Nate's Birthday Party

We had Nate's birthday party at a nearby park. He asked for a Clifford party, and did you know that Clifford party plates, napkins, etc have been discontinued? Yes, for $12, I could have bought a package of 8 plates, but I decided to go with the colors - red, blue and yellow instead. I added doggie accessories where possible, and luckily some companies still use Clifford as a marketing tool, so I was able to find stickers and juice boxes with his picture on them. Oh, and the things you can buy on eBay - was able to have some personalized coloring books made up for pretty cheap - they even threw in small round stickers with Clifford and friends pics on them to put on the bottom of Hershey's kisses. Nate was absolutely worn out, so I think the party was successful!

The dog bowl cake. I tried for red, but realized
I had Christmas red icing dye, not a true red. Oh well.

Isn't that the most pitiful attempt at blowing out
the candles? I told you he was tired!
