Sarah also wrapped up a fun year with Daisies. Luke and I went to her end of the year meeting and ceremony. It was hot, and I think Luke was just a few weeks old, but it was quick and Sarah got to show off her new brother.
After that, Nate had his end of the season party for soccer. Luke and I missed this, but pizza and medals were involved, so that was a success.
Sarah also had Field Day. In my day, field day was when you competed in track and field events. Not at Sarah's school. Here, it is a crazy free-for-all, where there is face painting, bounce castles, dancing, etc. There was a tug of war rope, and Sarah and some friends tried that. It explains why when we'd ask if she was practicing running or jumping, she kept saying no! Still, they had a great time.
I cant find the pics from Sarah's art show, so once I do, I'll post those too. Sarah loved Art class, and she did really well!

I can't believe we have a first grader! My, how time flies. Sarah has learned so much this year. She reads very well for her age, understands math (hope she got Kevin's math skills), and has really grown emotionally. I didn't realize how much younger she was than the other kids until she started going to parties last fall, and knowing she wasn't going to be 6 for almost a year! We're still waiting on her first loose tooth, but that's just around the corner!
