Happy Halloween!

And finally, here are some pictures from Halloween. Sarah of course was very excited to "get candy from the people." (where do they get this stuff?) Nate and I went to her class's Halloween party, which went well. The kids had so much to eat, and were surprisingly very well behaved. As soon as we got into the car to go home though, she asked me for a snack! She ate that too.

Kevin and I took turns taking Sarah to our neighbors' homes. She went to about 7 houses, and still ended up with a lot of candy for a 2 year old. She even said "trick or treat" which surprised us, since she can be shy, but I guess if candy is involved... Afterwards, I showed her how you dump it all out and see what you got. She then proceeded to ask me what all the different types of candy were, which I happily informed her. My immediate family knows this, but I really like candy - more than I should - especially the sugary stuff like Nerds, Sweet Tarts, etc. When Sarah was allowed to choose the candy out of the basket or bowl, she always chose the lollipops - good girl!
