Koslo Family Trip 2009

We had our first ever Koslo Family Trip this past summer. Unfortunately, not all of the Koslo's could make it, but we had a good time anyway. We hadn't seen Galveston since the hurricane in 2008 and while some areas were devastated, the area where we were was looking really good.

We stayed about 20 minutes from the seawall at a place called Pointe West Resort. It was kind of far from everything, but we stayed in a condo with a full kitchen, so we ate most of our meals at the condo, and if we had wanted, the resort even had a restaurant. It also had just about everything else you could want to do - playground, beach access, two pools, lagoons for crabbing and fishing, a lazy river, grills and canoe and kayak rental.

I have more pictures from the trip here.

Moondoggie, ready for the beach

Fishing with Nannie

Sarah wasn't interested in crabbing, just watching the
crabs once they were put into the bucket.

Swimming in the Lazy River

Day Two: the beach

Andrew and Nate, building sand castles

The cousins - Nate, Meghan, Sarah and Andrew

Swimming at the pool

Dinner at The Spot on the Seawall

One of the more fun things you could do with the pool!
