Sarah's Birthday, Part Deaux

For Sarah's birthday, which is in July, we knew we wanted something indoors and it had to be a Fancy Nancy theme! We invited her entire class and a few other friends and everybody came! It was a lot of fun, but there were a lot of people. Luckily, the place we had the event, Extreme Fun, a bounce castle indoor playground, could handle a party this large. We are so grateful for all of the wonderful friends and all of their thoughtfulness!

One thing we have learned, be very careful about how many people you invite during an economic downturn. I don't think too many people were vacationing this past year!

This makes me think of a medieval feast. (Grandma in the background)

Cupcakes made by me and Aunt Kathy,
complete with candy jewels and pearls.

Let the feast begin!

One happy girl with lots of presents!

A few kids actually stayed around to watch the presents being opened.

I languished over what to get boys for a Fancy Nancy party. I settled on sequin ties! Here are our cousins Matthew, Benjamin, Little Bro Nate and Joseph modeling them for us.

That's not all Nathan ended up modeling - I couldn't get a picture quick enough of him wearing the matching earrings!

And, he had to test out the apron set too.
