I have to post a couple of things that Sarah has said to me in the last 24 hours. First of all, I would like to "thank" my mother for giving me her hands, which means that I have bony hands and fingers with large veins. As I get older, my skin will most likely thin and if I happen to knock my hand on anything - a corner, a door, a pillow, I will bleed. Knowing that, the other day Sarah said to me, "I sure hope Daddy lives a long time, because looking at your hands, you might die soon."
UPDATE: Just came across this article on Real Simple about how to slow the aging process on your hands. Guess I'd better start doing this!
And then today, we were listening to the radio on our way to school and Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" is on and Sarah tells me she likes it, so I turn it up. After a few seconds of listening to the song, she says, "why would you ever tell someone you're theirs when they might not want you?!" Good point, young one.
